I have a serious addiction to distressing. Clothes, furniture, you name it. Lately, I’ve had a problem with ordering distressed jeans for the store. I get a lot of the people who share the same love for distressing, and then the people that just don’t get it. The ones that look at you like you have 3 heads for wearing jeans with holes in them. Then there’s the people that make the joke that you’ve certainly never heard before — “did you buy those like that? I could have given you my old ones for free.” I have come up with all sorts of answers in my head, but have yet to let them out.

Now I have a whole other issue lately. Knee distressing has become pretty big. I have fallen into this trend, but I hate asking myself — do these jeans make my knees look fat? You know what I’m talking about, so I’m not even going to explain it. Now I know why they started the ‘knee blow’ trend. I’m actually kind of in love with it.

So here’s to the busted, blown out, distressed and destroyed jeans that I love. And yes, I did buy them like that.

Love, Megan.
